My expertise

A little more about the work that got me here, and what I have to offer you.

2022

Designing for libraries

After earning a degree in UX Design, I became the UI/UX Designer at the University of Michigan Library.

I became an expert in creating time- and effort-saving reusable designs for folks of all design abilities — helping my colleagues create professional-looking stuff built with templates & repeatable components.

2024

Designing for small businesses

After piloting a component-based graphic design system at a friend's agency, I discovered that design systems translate quite well to the everyday work of a solo business owner who is managing, well, the business — and an online presence on top of it.

Non-designers have to make social media posts and graphics all the time. With my tools & guidance, I can make it way easier!

2025

Auditing & building websites

After years designing sites for developers at the library, I started building sites for new business owners. My library experience also equipped me to provide site audits & recommendations for improvement for folks with existing sites that need some TLC.

I take pride in the time I spend with my clients to help them understand how to maintain and track engagement with their new websites.
